In this article, the measures and legislative studies taken by the legislators in Türkiye regarding this problem were examin!.

Child maltreatment is divid! into four categories: physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and neglect.
• Physical Abuse: It is the intentional use of physical force against a child that harms or is likely to harm their health, life, development or dignity.
