— Many countries are at different levels of developing their own national digital currencies. Some are just thinking about it, some have started a pilot, some, like China, have been in the process for a long time. Next year, more active work will begin on the interoperability of national currency platforms. And then it will be clear with whom exactly this is possible.

 

— Accordingly, we are talking only about friendly countries in the current conditions?

 

— Including them. Many of them are also planning to launch CBDC on their side. But, in my opinion, they will need more time, because we are already in the process, and many are just thinking about how to do it.

Can next year be called the year of the digital

ruble in Russia, or can this year already be considered as such?

— Definitely not this year. The next year will be very important for us. We have to learn some lessons in a good way. Testing on real operations will give us an opportunity to understand what needs to be tweaked and improved, what why is there reluctance to use it? needs to be improved, what needs to be changed.
