The Ampelmännchen, icons of Berlin’s pedestrian crossings.

If you are staying in Berlin or taking a language school course ! you will notice them while waiting at traffic lights ( ‘ Verkehrsampel ‘ in German): these are the little men who authorise (or not) p!estrians to cross the road.

Do you know the Ampelmännchen ( literally: “traffic light men” )?

The funniest thing is that over time they have become icons of the singapore email list city! of which they represent one of the legacies of the past.
